Born Annick Cazaux in Paris, Anne has painted since she was a small child, beginning with the walls of her room. As a young adult, she met Suzette Feuillebois-Deze, who became her spiritual mother and her mother-in-law. They painted side by side in the Normandy countryside. Anne is a true primitive painter. Her art is inspired by her travels. Each painting has a story, and is part of her voyage through life.
Devoted to nature and children, Anne has painted murals in Debre Lapanouse, a childrens' hospital in Paris, as well as rooms for private clients. She has exhibited several times in the prestigious Salon de Autonne at the Grand Palais, and is in the permanent exhibition of the Galerie des Naif et Primitif in Paris.
Her commitment to nature and children led her to form an Association which distributes part of her earnings from her painting to the welfare of children. Married to an American, she now spends part of her time in New York, and the rest in Paris.
