Journeys with Adrian Wong Shue

The art of Adrian Wong Shue reveals an incredibly diverse mixture of cultural influences and the mastery of numerous traditional and innovative techniques. Wong Shue has made many journeys, and is always drawn to local artists and their way of expression. He is an explorer of mythology, associating with its various ways of understanding the harmony of the universe. Many of his earlier works - and his serigraphs - are inspired by his time in Brazil. After several journeys to Brazil, Wong Shue became involved in the problem of the vanishing cultures of the rain forests. In 1990, he created "Songs of the Earth," a series of benefit exhibitions to support the Usko-Ayar School of Painting, a free art workshop for the youth of the Peruvian Amazon.

We are pleased to announce a new and exclusive exhibit of Adrian Wong Shue's originals - these works have never before been displayed anywhere. Select the image above to go directly to these paintings.
