Paintings by Jean E. Cadet

In Haiti, as in other tropical countries, the sky can take on marvelous hues with unusual cloud formations. Jean E. Cadet captures these effects in a unique way.

Cadet was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, January 1965. He began painting at a very early age, and by the time he was 18 he was internationally known. He has exhibited in Miami, Chicago, Paris, Hamburg, Germany, and Washington, D.C. He won first prize in an exhibition in Panama. He was invited to Mexico to exhibit his works in the Museum in Mexico City.
