"The Hoatzins" - "The Hoatzins are very quiet birds; they live in the black lakes of the Peruvian jungle or tahuampales (dumps). Around them we can see trees that are used in medicine such as Oje, renaco with some lianas on it. We also see a parasite plant called Itininga. In the water, behind the Oje, we can appreciate some small plants with stings called Nejilla with big leaves. It is a kind of palm tree. In the middle we have the Lobo-Muena tree whose fruits are especially used in traditional medicine."
"The Chohsnas" - "This is the representation of a morning. We can see to the background a Gavilan Churero (eagle) that is going to get on the branch of Muena Megra tree. This is the view from a Renaco tree, the high part where there are different classes of parasite plants shuch as the Itininga. They have leaves in a heart shape. We also have the Intipina and the Boa Sacha. On the Renacos there are two monkeys which are called in this area Choshnas."
"Los Cushuris" - "In the fourth level of this painting we can see the mountain and also in the third level. In the second level we see the Capirona, the Caimitillos, the Catahua, the Tangarana trees and lianas that cover to the branches. To the right side we see trees such as the Cedro, the Yacushapana and a trunk of Aguaje covered with lianas and comegen, itiningas, and parasite plants and also Initipinas. In the first level there are the Stillis and the Aguarjillos and in the middle it is the Pashaca that behind of it we see some Paucares nests. We can see the black-blue birds called Cushris and they feed themselves by catching fish from the lakes or the rivers."
"Pumaquiro Tree" - "The Pumaquiro is a very high tree that exists in the jungle. Its bark looks broken and its roots are very big too. I am showing the jungle in this way because the vegetation is plenty here and I don't like people destroying it. There is another tree called Manchinga and a flower called Margarita."
"Happy Dawn" - "This is a painting that has the different varieties of vegetation that exist in the Peruvian Amazon. This shows an early morning where animals feel happy for this new day in the vast vegetation of the jungle. The animal is a kind of monkey that is known as Choshna. There are also beautiful birds that fly happy in the jungle."
"The Exotic Jungle" - "The jungle and its living floral are not loved by many people, who do not care about it, but other people love it so much. The color and the life are together only to give our life the necessary rest. The Patiquina and the Citulli prevail in this painting. The Colibri and the butterfly not exactly. Would you like to know a little about this painting? Give it a small smile and to your life the real best."
"Ullpa Garza" - "In this painting we see at the middle the colored forest. The view is in the afternoon. There are different kinds of trees under the precipice that was in summer. There are small lakes too. In the second plane we can find some trees as follows: the dried tree is the Lobo Muena. Tornillo, Remo Caspi and the White Yute and around them some climbing plants. In the first plane we find the Ullpa Garza, or gray heron. These birds' food of fishes are running out because in this place the fishes got caught and they are the herons' food."
"Mistic Jungle" - "In the first level we see a plant with big leaves known as tobacco. Beside this there are some other medicinal plants and different kinds of trees. The tree of long leaves is called Espintana and is together with the Cedro which has small leaves. The other one to the left is called Yacushapana. In the second level is a bank that has the shape of an animal, and we see a small stream where the sun light reflects on the water. In the third level we see another bank and some small walks into the jungle. In all this beautiful jungle there is something mystical of enchantments and deep and dark places."
"Chirik-Sanango" - "In the left part of this painting we can see the Shimbillo Vacapaca. Behind this is seen some leaves of Chambria palms. We can see a little stream. We see two Paujil Chakis Lianas and between them bains and lianas. In the middle are the Mashin Mango tree and the Boas Huasca liana. We also see another liana called Coto-Huayo in front of this tree. On the right side is the Remo-Caspi. There is also the Chirik-Sanango with flowers."
"The Stream" - "In the left part of this painting we can see the Requia tree surrounded by lianas that hang from the branches. Behind this tree we see some pieces of wood that the people destroy from the trees. To the right we see the Mohena tree and there is a plant on the roots. Then we see the Capirona tree. There is also a small plant before the stream. There is Alos Initininga. There is the Capirona tree and on its branches two Guamamayos (Macaws); one on the branch and the other one flying. On the bank there are lots of fallen branches."
"The Herons" - "This painting represents our jungle and it is a dawn. We find trees such as: Bolaina, Capirona, Catahua on which there are parasite plants such as Itipinas, Sogas, Lianas that are in our jungle. There are two waterfalls that go to a river in which there are small stones and rocks. We found two herons that live in the lakes and they eat fish."
"The Enchanted Waterfalls" - "The happiness of the magic and mistic jungle: it is used as a meditation point about our acts. We can see a lot of trees, quite big, like the Yacu-Shapana, Estoraque, Requia and Muhena at the right side with some shrubs, lianas, and a variety of leaves. To the left see two waterfalls with fresh water and some rocks and little fish enjoying the Ucayali jungle."
"The Rest of the Jabirus" - "This is the representation of the evening in the jungle. To the left we can see palm trees of the Yarina. In the middle, there is a Recanco where the Tuyuyos or Jabiros are resting. To the right there are wild palms and the Sapo Huasca. At the background we can see the jungle and the reflection of the moon that gives light to the painting. We see also some little birds that like the darkness for getting their food."
"Mysterious Jungle" - "This is a bit of the virgin forest in Peru where people are interested in conserving the flora and fauna. We must understand that we must not destroy our nature, we must protect it and make people to understand not only in Peru but all over the world to respect nature. What is nature? It is all alive things that are on earth. Trees: Ajos quiro, Caoba or Mahogani, Lupuna colorada, Oje, and Caimitillo are teaching plants that cure many illnesses. To the left side of this painting and at the background is the tree called Oje, covered with some lianas as the Seca boca and another tree in the middle called Caimitillo and many other ones at the back (big and small with different names). Many medicinal plants are among the others that have many uses in folk medicine. In the first level we see 5 huangas or wild pigs. They are 1.2 metres long and they weigh from 30-40 kilos. Their big teeth are very hard and strong to destroy branches, lianas and whatever they find: vipers, tigers, wild fruits and hard palm fruits. These animals generally have a bad smell the hunters call Asnai so that to people who have bad smell down the shoulders they say 'huangana your smell.'"
"The Tiger" - "The Tiger or Otorongo is one of the big cats of the Amazonion region. They live alone or in couples; they have smooth skin and black spots. The Tiger climbs very easily and sometime attacks people when they are hungry but especially they attack the wild animals in the jungle to eat. Its skin is very appreciated in the international market."
"High Jungle" - "In this painting in the first level we see the Renaco tree and a plant called soliman with green and purple leaves on the renaco. The lianas as the boa huasca are with green and red yellowish colors. In the second level is the Caoba or Mahogany tree and the other is the Tangarana. In the middle of this painting is the Red Capirona tree and a liana called tiger's heart. To the right is the Mashushillo with claws on its stem of this liana; behind this is the Remo-Caspi, a tree used to make boats in the Amazon. We see the huaira caspi tree too."
"The Pericos" (Little Parrots) - From the left to the right in this painting we can see some Tamshis and a Comegen nest. In the first level there are four Pericos or Pihuichos - a family of parrots. They are in the branches of a tree called Shihuahuaco."
"Tropical Summer" - "This painting has its original colors. The sky color refracts on the river; there are small and big trees at the banks of the river and around them are parasite plants and lianas too. We can find dry leaves and branches of the trees in the jungle."
"A Stream in the Jungle" - In this painting we see the natural resources that nature gives us. In this landscape I show the Cordoncilla, used to cure stomach ulcers and the Papailla to cure bites by mosquitoes or insects."
"The Squirrel" - "In this painting we can see the variety of shrubs and plants of the green forest such as the Gisador and the Estrella Huasca and lianas too. In the first level of this painting we see the Cabo Huasca liana and on it there is a squirrel or Huayhuashi. You can see big leaves of the Itininga and the Shebon leaf (palm tree). This part of the jungle I took from Santa Rosa when I was coming after hunting."
"The Appetite for Generation in Turtles" - "In this painting we see a very close view of the Amazon rainforest. From the left to the right in the second level we see trees like Ubos that are used to make furniture; at the middle the Lupuna tree and the Caoba or Mahogani also used for its beautiful wood to make furniture. To the left there is the Estrella Huasca near the Ubos tree; in the middle it is the Tamshi near the Lupuna that is a liana used to build houses and in medicine for the hair. On the earth we see in the first level, the appetite for generation in turtles; because it is important to save the rainforest, now a days this kind of animals are hunted by people for its meal."
"The Timber" - "In this painting we clearly see to the workers after taking off wood to the water. They work on the waters and take care the workers do not fall down in the water when they transport wood for many uses in industry. To the right there are two parrots and two monkeys and a Macaw. We have trees at the right side as the Cedro, Requia with a termites nest and a Renaco. To the left is the Quinilla tree and the Ubos. To teach the timbers about danger in destroying the jungle is good to tell them to grow vegetables or to replant new trees."
"Sunset in Yarina" - "In the forest jungle we see a settlement where Indian people live. It is getting dark and we see some trees such as the Tamari with lianas and parasite plants. We see also an owl and two evening herons in the quiet evening."
"The Wild Caw" - "The sky is clean and quiet; it is dawn in the deepness of the jungle and there is a bank alongside a stream which is dry for the summer season. There is a variety of trees in the second level as the Requila, Huangana Casha and the Capirona roja. The Estoraque is in the first level. In the middle of this painting is a Wild Caw with its baby that are going to the stream to drink some water."
